So over the past few days I have been drooling (not literally) over the stunning Spring Summer 2017 collection by Rodarte. So it makes so much sense to share the ones that I have seen and loved the most!
The prettiest dresses that I wish were in my wardrobe!
Absolutely loving the fact that a lot of designers are bringing layers of ruffles back in, I just think they look so gorgeous and so feminine with the layers and layers of tulle.
Also love that they have used plenty of these flowers, since the flowers them selves are so simple it just makes the dress look so perfectly styled. I also really love the heels!
Also really love their jewelry, the flowers that have been stitched onto this dress, and the layers of tulle. This one most definitely has to be one of my favourites!
I don't normally love polka dots that much but when I saw this dress and the one above I fell in love with them! It just looks so so pretty with the light blush pink colour and the different layers of tulle!
I really drooled over this dress when I saw it! I thought the top part of the dress with the lace looked stunning and the flowers stitched onto the dress just brought the dress together. Just so beautiful!
Although I would definitely say that these last two dresses would have to be my favourites, I just love how they have stitched the poppies on and the colour of this dress is so beautiful!
The setting that the runway was in was so stunning, I mean whats more perfect than seeing a collection of beautiful dresses walking through a really pretty flower garden. I am also really admiring the fact that they have kept the models makeup really simple, it just compliments the dresses so well. Oh and I'm going to go on about how I love the shoes and how I wish I could have one of these dresses and those shoes, just love them! The models are also accessorized really well too, with the flowers, bows, and gold ribbon making it look so pretty but yet so simple.
So overall I would have to say that the this collection by Rodarte has been a success!
Now I am really feeling inspired to go and dream up a new illustration inspired by these stunning Rodarte dresses. I'm thinking plenty of flowers and pretty pink blushy tones!
xx
